A scenic drive through lhasa to Ganden, Ganden Monastery is located on Wangbur Mountain, on the southern bank of Lhasa River in Tagtse County, 47 kilometers (29 miles) from Lhasa City. It stands at an altitude of 3,800 meters (12,467 feet) above sea level! It is one of the earliest and largest Buddhist monasteries in Tibet, and stands atop of the six famous temples of Gelugpa – a branch of Tibetan Buddhism, evening drive back to Lhasa. B.

In the mystical capital of Lhasa, there is ample time to explore the former home of the Dalai Lama, Potala Palace, Tibet’s world famous resplendent landmark with over 1,000 rooms and 10,000 shrines. That has over 3500KG gold with its golden roof. There is also Jokhang, Tibet’s holiest temple with its priceless statues and frescoes, and the Norbulinka, or Summer Place, from which the present Dalai Lama fled in 1959. Jokhag is the oldest temple that has the statue of 11 years old Buddha which was given to Tsrongchang Gompo on the 7th century by the family of her Chinese queen. We will take you to Sera and Derphung monasteries around Lhasa. Shoppers mustn’t miss the Barkhor, the bustling bazaar of old Lhasa, which is right on the pilgrim’s circumambulation route around Jokhang. B.
A scenic drive through the Karo La Pass and Kamba La Pass with a very good view of the Yamdrok Tso Lake even though I is going to be a long drive. Then you cross the mighty Brahmmaputra then Gyantse and visit to the Kumbum Stupa ( the temple which have 3 style architecture , Nepali, Chinese. O/ N in Hotel. B
Morning sightseeing to the Tashilhumpu Monastery (seat of Panchen Lama), It has three big Temples with golden Pagoda. One of them have statue of forthcoming Buddha 13th wide and 26th ft. in height. An ample example of the Tibetan rich architectural and cultural heritage with hundreds of monks walking around chanting Om Mane Padme Hum for the world peace. B
Morning Gyantse sightseeing and drive back to Lhasa. O/ N in Hotel B
