CLASSICAL ADVENTURE TOUR – PERU & BOLIVIA(14 DAYS)
Day 1: Lima
Upon arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to the selected hotel and overnight.
Day 2: Lima/Juliaca-Puno
After an early breakfast, there is a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport Please arrange your own flight to take the flight to Puno. Upon arriving at Puno, there is a reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 3: Puno/Uros islands + Taquile island
After breakfast, there is a tour of the National Reserve of Titicaca for a visit to the Uros “floating islands”. These are a group of more than 40 islands made of piles of “Totora” reeds. Although the Uros people on the island have intermarried with the Aymara and no pure Uros exists, they continue living as their ancestors practising some of the Uro traditions. The islanders fish, hunt birds and graze cattle on the islets.
After approximately three hours, the tour arrives at Taquile island. The population was relatively isolated from the mainland until the 1950s. The notion of community is still strong among the people. This is also reflected in the strong organization of community life and collective decision-making. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly weaving that dates back to the ancient Inca, Pukara and Colla civilizations. Return to Puno and the hotel. Lunch is included.
Day 4: Puno/La Paz
After breakfast, the trip starts with a transfer by bus from the hotel to Copacabana stopping at the towns of July, Pomata and Yunguyo-Casani. In Copacabana, visit the cathedral and the Main Plaza. After boarding the catamaran at the harbor, the trip continues to “Isla del Sol” (Sun island). This is the most visited island on lake Titikaka due to its Inca ruins and its nice scenery. The catamaran passes through Tiquina straits. Upon arrival in the harbor of Chua. There is a bus ride to the hotel in La Paz
Day 5: La Paz/Uyuni
After an early breakfast, there is a scheduled transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to Uyuni. Departure by plain to Uyuni at 06:30 or 08:00, the flight takes around 60min, arrival and reception and transfer to a local restaurant for a second breakfast for those passengers arriving in the first flight (payment by pax). Our visit starts visiting the train cemetery only at 5 minutes from Uyuni away, after that we go towards the great Salt Lake, visit at the Incahuasi Island which is one of the central tourist attraction. We will follow the little path to arrive at the top of the island from where we will get the amazing 360 º view on the Salar. Outdoor lunch and free time to enjoy the view. We will see water bubbling on the service, known as ‘Ojos de Salar’, which comes from the underground river of the Tunupa Volcano. Afterwards we drive in direction of the village of Colchani to visit the salt factories and souvenirs market. Finally, we head back across the lake arriving to our hotel at sunset. Ranked in the world’s top ten most unique hotels; this offers an unexpected level of comfort with facilities constructed entirely out of salt with stunning views out to the lake. Once we have checked in, we will have time to explore the hotel and relax before our evening meal in the restaurant.
Day 6: Uyuni/La Paz/Cusco
At a scheduled time, transfer from the hotel to the airport to take the flight to La Paz and then connecting with the flight to Cusco. Upon arriving at Cusco, there is a reception and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 7: Cusco/Wayllabamba – Inka trek 4/3
After an early breakfast, the tour starts with a three-hour bus ride through the Sacred Valley to Km 82 (54.68-mile post) at 2,750 m.s.n.m (9,022 ft.) From this point starts approximately a five-hour hike through the Sacred Valley along the Urubamba river to reach the campsite in Wuayllabamba at 3,600 m.s.l. (9,842 ft.). Lunch and dinner are provided.
Day 8: Wayllabamba/Warmiwañusca/Pacaymayo
After breakfast, departure for Warmiwañusca Pass 4,200 ms.l. (13,779 ft) to enjoy the panoramic view of the Peruvian Andes. Afterwards the trail heads down to the second camp site in Pacay 3,600 m.s.l. (11,811 fts). Total hiking time is approximately six to seven hours. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Day 9: Pacaymayo/Puyupatamarca/Wiñaywayna
After breakfast, the hike continues to the archaeological sites of Runkurakay, Sayacmarca, Phuyutamarca and Wiñayhuayna 2,650 m.s.l. (8,594ft). The third camp site is at Wiñayhuayna. Total hiking time is approximately seven hours. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Day 10: Wiñaywayna/Machu Picchu – Huaynapicchu/Cusco
After an early breakfast, the hike starts at 5:30 A.M. to see the sunrise at Intipunko or “Sun Gate”. Arriving at Machu Picchu around 8:00A.M. for a two-hour guided tour. After the tour, climb up the Huayna Picchu mountain. At the scheduled time, began the descent to Aguas Calientes in a shuttle bus for lunch and to take the train back to Cusco and to your hotel. Lunch is included.
Day 11: Cusco – Rainbow Mountain
A fantastic day tour (with trekking) to the so-called 7 Color Mountain, leaving from Cusco. Located in southern Peru, in the Cusco region, this route will take you through stunning landscapes with glaciers, snowcapped mountains and crystal clear rivers and lakes. Pass by local villages of Quechua descendants and explore the breathtaking surrounding nature. The colors of the Rainbow Mountain will leave you speechless.
You will be picked up from your accommodation at around 3.00 am and start making your way first to Arco (on the route to Puno) eventually getting to the Checacupe district (2-hour journey). Then we will continue to Pitumarca and a number of small villages till we reach the community of Hanchipata-Quesuno (another 1.5 hours). From here we start our hike. We will be able to enjoy the view of numerous mountains around as well as of the Ausangate glacier, and we will be able to witness up close the local wildlife and camelids in their natural environment. The trek lasts for about 3 hours until we get to the stunning landscape of Vinicunca (Rainbow Mountains). Here we will have about one hour to relax and take amazing pictures of this natural wonder. We then hike back to the starting point of the trek, and from there return to Cusco (arriving at approximately 19.00).
Day 12: Cusco Sightseeing.
After an early breakfast, we will have a day sightseeing in Cusco.
Day 13: Cusco-Lima
Morning we take a flight to Lima and afternoon we have a day Sightseeing in Lima.
It begins with the historic downtown to visit important buildings like the Government Palace, The cathedral of Lima, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Municipal Palace it also includes a visit to the church of San Francisco and Monastery, the largest monumental complex of Colonial Art in the Américas . You will also see the stone facades and wooden balconies of the Colonial houses. Passing by “Huaca Pucllana”: a Preinka building. Which was most likely used as an important ceremonial and administrative center belonging to the Lima Culture. The tour ends with a visit to the modern suburbs of San Isidro, and Miraflores. San Isidro has modern apartment buildings and beautiful parks such as El Olivar with olive’s trees brought from Spain in the 15th century. Miraflores with its Central Park and Larcomar Shopping Center that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.

Day 14: Lima fly home.
