AMARNATH & VAISHNODEVI TOUR YATRA

Day 1:

Arrive Delhi and then connect flight for Srinagar(flight not Included).

Upon arrival drive to Sonamarg (Approx. 3 hrs drive). Arrive Sonamarg and check in at hotel.

Overnight in Sonamarg. 

Day 2: SONAMARG – AMAMRNATH-SRINAGAR

Early morning at around 0400 hrs drive to Baltal (Approx.16 kms./15 mins drive) and then walk to Amarnath 5 Hrs walk. Reach Amarnath at around 1100 hrs and spend 2 hours there and then return same day to Baltal by trek. Reach around 1800 hrs and overnight in Sonamarg.

Other option is to take Helicopter up and down for the Amarnath. In this case you will have to trek to the Amarnath by 1 ½ hrs one way i.e. 3 hours total up and down to the helipad point.

Overnight in Sonamarg.

Day 3: SONAMARG – SRINAGAR                                                         BY: SURFACE

• Morning at around 0700 hrs drive to Srinagar ( 3 hrs drive). Upon arrival check in at hotel. Then proceed for sightseeing of Srinagar.

• Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh (Abode Of pleasure), built by Asif Khan Brother in law of Jahangir in 1632 AD, Shalimar Garden Bagh (Abode of Love) built by Jahangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. These beautiful mountains are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the Background. Distance from Srinagar is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute, visit a carpet Weaving factory Afternoon city tour of Srinagar driving pass Hari Parbhat Fort built by Mughal Emperor Akbar, visiting Jamia Mosque the biggest Mosque of Kashmir, Shah Hamadan Shrine, Budshah Tomb, drive through narrow lanes to view the native life of local people.

• PM: Enjoy a Shikara Ride on Dal Lake visiting Char Chinar, Floating, Vegetable Gardens etc. and Witness Walnut Woodcarving and papier-mâché Making demonstration

Overnight in Srinagar

Day 4: Flight to Jammu (flight not included)and then to Katra

We arrive morning to Jammu and drive to katra later Trek for 14 kms furhter to do the darshan. Post Darshan trek down or take a fly back to Katra (extra cost).

Overnight in Katra.  

Day 5: KATRA- JAMMU                                                                           BY: SURFACE

JAMMU- DELHI                                                                                         

Morning proceed for sightseeing of Jammu and then in time transfer to Jammu airport to board flight for Delhi(flight not included)

Depart Jammu

Arrive Delhi at 1700 hrs and then transfer to hotel.

Overnight in Delhi

Day 6: DEPART DELHI                                                                             BY: FLIGHT

In time transfer to Delhi airport to board flight for London.
