Day 1: Arrival / Transfer to Negombo:
You will be landing to the pearl of Asia. At Katunayake, Aitken Spence representative / your very own driver will welcome you and take you to the vehicle. we will drive to your hotel to get relaxed any jet lag
Afternoon Commence the city tour in Negombo.

Day 2: Walk with elephant / see the way we lived traditionally / Kandy

After breakfast leave for Pinnawala. You can experience bellow options
Optional 01 (3 hours )
How about a walk with an Elephant? yes it is amazing to walk with an elephant, so Millennium Elephant Foundation is the best place to have that experience, after having your breakfast, drive to Millennium Elephant Foundation, start the education tour about elephants, you will be briefed about the Asian Elephants and about the activities of foundation. the walk includes, personalized guided tour, at least 30 minutes’ walk with elephant around the garden, bathing the same elephant in the river, tour of Maximus Elephant Dung Paper Factory, observe the activities of captive elephant and study them,
Optional 02 (2 hours)
After the walk with elephant visit the Pinnawala Iperani Gama (Pinnawala traditional Village Theme park)
The village is designed to reflect the traditional life of Sri Lankan people and the way they lived in 18s and early 19th century. we enter to the Wedamahaththaya’s home (Ayurvedic physician’s home) and learn on how the traditional medicine was practiced in Sri Lanka, next door is the home of Arachchi (the head of the village), you will learn how he ruled the village and what kind of power he was given by the king. well grown rice field adds stunning beauty to the village. a herbal drink will be served with sweets made traditionally, friendly villagers will show you how they made some of equipment they used in history for day to day use.
On completion leave for Kandy and check in at the hotel.
If time permits start the city tour in Kandy. It is always good night time to do the city tour in Kandy. Kandy – the World Heritage Site & last royal capital of Sri Lankan kings – crafts an array of culture, history and heritage in the minds of visitors across the globe. Experience an ancient Kandyan legacy engraved around its crown jewel, the temple of the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha. A stroll across this small lakeside town – cradled among the misty hills. will feature the Kandy City Centre – bundled with latest and world class brands, bazaar, an arts & crafts center, as well as a gem museum & lapidary. Drive towards Victoria Golf Course, undoubtedly one of the best golf courses in the world for a sweep blended with class and style. Or walk in color as you glide through fresh fruits and vegetables in the Kandy market. Fine tube your evening by stepping to the beat of traditional music & drumming amplified by a cultural show enhancing the rich and vibrant culture of the Wonder of Asia, Sri Lanka.

Day 3: Kandy / Kithulgala

After breakfast leave for Kithulgala via Gampola.
Kithulgala is very famous because it provides ample potentials for adventure activities. White Water Rafting is the main attractive adventure activity that is done in Kelany River in Kithulgala area.
Many adventure activities are available from soft to hardcore and you can select the preferable one from bellow.
Option 03 – White Water Rafting (3 hours)
At Kithulgala, Experience white water rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, covering 5 major rapids & 4 minor rapids. This activity is for anyone above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing will be given by white water rafting instructors.
Option 04 – Trekking in Kelani Valley River Rain Forest (4 hours)
The Kalani Valley forest reserve is low country rain forest containing a host of endemic birds and other wildlife unique to the Island. Some of the birds are found around home gardens and will be a fascinating experience. One of the more sort after endemics is the Chestnut-backed Owlet, we will head in the direction to a known stakeout and then to the Serendib Scops Owl stakeout. The latter mentioned owl created a sensation in the birding world. Other endemic birds found here is the Yellow-fronted barbet, Ceylon small Barbet, Ceylon Spurfowl, Green-billed Coucal, Layard’s Parakeet, and the Ceylon Rufous Babbler to name a few.
As for mammals encountered commonly would be the Grizzled-tailed Giant Squirrel the endemic race to the island and the Red Slender Loris also endemic to the country.
Option 05 – Cycling tour in Kithulgala area (2 Hours)
Cycling tour in hill country through lush green forest and well maintained plantation brings peaceful to the restlessness life. People who comes with a bulk of rubber sheet on top of the head is a daily activity of the local people, the ride will be 5 km through windy roads and it will not be hard to finish.

Day 4 – Nuwara Eliya / Yala

After breakfast leave for Yala via Nuwara Eliya.
Misty steep roads, twisting through lush green blankets of tea bushes in a cool climate, remind visitors that they are within the range of the renowned British colonial retreat, Nuwara Eliya. Augmented by an English countryside atmosphere, the city of light – once governed by English & Scottish planters – is still studded with colonial bungalows, hedgerows & one of the finest 18-hole golf courses in the world. A hike through the green grass and red-brick walls should present breathtaking views of a buzzing countryside hamlet. Hop into a rattling train smoking and hissing its way through green valleys of the hill country pierced by endless waterfalls & dotted by tea pluckers draped in bright-colored saris.
After sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya proceed to Yala and check in at the hotel.
On arrival check in at the hotel.
If time permits do afternoon safari in Yala national Park.

As your jeep rumble through the giant gates of Yala, you are not only stepping into the most visited national park in the country, but also the lands of a civilization which thrived during the reign of Sri Lankan kings. You name it, and Yala has it! Its usual inmates cover herds of elephant, sloth bear, spotted dear, jackal, extensively populated birdlife as well as the highest density of leopards in the world that garnish the park to be one of the finest destinations in the country. Feel the rough track as your jeep thunders over rocks and swish passing narrow bends for an exhilarating experience blended with the cries of wilderness under the tropical sun.

Day 05 – Yala National Park / Galle or Hikkaduwa

Option 07 – Gale City tour
Galle, the epic Southern capital, is the intersection where classic Dutch architecture meets a tropical setting creating a vivid atmosphere in beauty. Walk the Dutch-haunted streets listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions today flooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. Its original ramparts and bastions preserved up to date showcase evidences of a heritage preserved for more than 3 1/2 centuries. Walk clockwise within the fort to observe the ‘old gate’ carrying the British coat of arms. Flanking the old gate is the Zwart bastion – the oldest of all – and the lighthouse standing 18 feet in its glory next to the Point Utretcht Bastion. This Dutch bliss is painted with streets that spread in a rectangular grid pattern pierced with houses carrying Dutch colonial style verandas. However, its hallmark stands a reality where the Dutch fort remains a working community with its usual buzz of administrative offices, court complex, commercial buildings, churches and Southern folks frequenting its streets bracing the air of the Elysium of architecture, Galle!
Option 08 – Mirissa Whale Watching.
Wake up early morning and sail to the deep ocean till sunset to capture the unforgettable and rare beautiful moments of sighting blue whales and the fascinating tall blows they make as they swim gracefully. Do not miss the magical moments when the largest animal to have ever inhabited the earth raise its fluke and dives into the deep blue ocean in search of its prey. The blue whales in Sri Lanka are known to fluke more often than any other sub species around the world. The playful and interactive dolphins will truly make your day full of fun and pleasure as they glide along with you while occasionally engaging in acrobatic stunts. Another unforgettable experience will be the flying fish you will see suddenly flying above the waters startled by the boats or large fish. If you are lucky you would get the chance to witness the sudden surfacing of turtles to take a quick breather.
