SATOPANTH LAKE TOUR- INDIA.

Day 01: Arrive Joshimath.

Arrival Joshimath in the evening and check in the hotel for overnight stay. (D)

Day 02: Joshimath – Badrinath – Mana – Vashudhara (Drive 48 Km & 5 Km trek).

Morning after breakfast drive (45km) up to reach Badrinath ji, visit Badrinath temple and further drive to Mana village 3 km and start trek to Vashudhara (5 km trek). Overnight in camp. (B. L. D.)

Day 03: Vashudhara – Jhamtoli 3640m (5Km trek).

Morning after breakfast trek to Jhamtoli (5 km) with pack lunch, Dinner and overnight stay at camp in Jhamtoli. (B. L. D.)

Day 04: Jhamtoli – Chakratirtha (4240m) (7Km trek).

Morning after breakfast trek up to Chakartirtha, there is large formation of glaciers which continue on to the snout. Dinner and overnight stay at Camp. (B. L. D.)

Day 05: Chakratirtha – Satopanth Lake (4600 m) (5Km trek).

5 km trek to satopanth. Satopanth lake is a three cornered lake with icy cold, crystal clear, emerald waters with a circumference of about 1km, it is situated at an elevation of 4600m above sea leave. It is known the world over for its strange beauty and serene heavenly like pleasant surroundings. (B. L. D.)

Day 06: Satopanth Tal (Hike around Satopanth Tal).

Explore the Swargarohini area, Hike towards Chowkhamba and back to tented camp near Satopanth lake. (B. L. D.)

Day 07: Satopanth lake – Laxmivan (3650m) (9 Km).

Morning after breakfast trek to laxmivan. Overnight stay in tent. (B. L. D.)

Day 08: Laxmivan – Jhamtoli (8 Km).

Morning after breakfast trek to Jhamtoli. Upon arrival set up the camp for overnight stay. (B. L. D.)

Day 09: Jhamtoli – Badrinath (5 Km).

Trek 5 km to Mana and drive 3 km to Badrinath same day. Check in the hotel. Evening visit Badrinath temple Overnight stay in hotel. (B. L. D.)

Day 10: Badrinath – Uttarkashi (Drive 300 Km).

Morning after breakfast check out from hotel and Drive to Uttarkashi. This will be a long day with approx 300 Km drive. Upon arrival check in the hotel for overnight stay. (B. L. D.)

Day 11: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (Drive 100 Km).

Morning after breakfast drive to reach Gangotri by covering approx 100 km in 06 Hrs. Overnight saty in hotel. (B. L. D.)

Day 12: Gangotri – Uttarkashi (Drive 100 Km).

Morning after breakfast trek back to Gangotri. On arrival at Gangotri drive down to Uttarkashi. En route visit to hot water spring at Gangnani.

Day 13: Uttarkashi Departure.

Morning after breakfast Check out from hotel and depart to onward destination. (B.)
